"Mayor"
Inteso |
Dover
Township:
In a bizarre ceremony with every aspect of a theatre of the absurd,
“Acting” Mayor Carmine Inteso provided the third vote to make himself
chairman of the township committee. He was also authorized by the same
margin to designate himself synthetic “Mayor” of the town.

“Mayor”
Aldrich Resigned For A Job At DMUA
Other votes in the ego ritual making Inteso the third bogus Dover
Township “Mayor” in seven months were provided by un-elected committee
members Virginia Haines and Michael Fiure who were recently appointed
to the committee by GOP “leaders” to replace resigned “Mayor” Raymond
Fox and resigned “Mayor” Clarence Aldrich.

Resigned As An Elected Manville
Councilman To Take A Patronage Job
Then Fiure, whose only other contribution to the political history of
Ocean County was to abandon the constituents who elected him to the
Manville Borough Council, from which he resigned to take a Republican
patronage appointment in the Somerset County Prosecutor’s office, was
named synthetic “Deputy Mayor” by the same three votes, including his
own vote.

Haines
Resigned From The State Assembly
For A Whitman Administration Patronage Job
Newly appointed Committeewoman Haines, who provided one of the three
votes appointing “Mayor” Inteso and “Deputy Mayor” Fiure, abandoned
the constituents who elected her to the State Assembly a few years ago
by resigning early in her term to take a lucrative patronage
appointment in the highly respected Whitman Administration as
“Executive” Director in the lottery department.
Bizarre
Show Comes In The Wake Of Atlantic City Jukes Incident
The bizarre show appointing Inteso and Fiure as artificial “Mayor” and
bogus “Deputy Mayor” of Dover Township comes in the wake of the
incident at Trump Marina late on June 30th where Committeeman John
Furey said “Mayor” Inteso grappled with him, pushed him to the floor
and smashed his camera to destroy photos Furey took of the “Acting”
Mayor and an “unidentified female” mentioned in the media.
The Atlantic City incident occurred during a concert by Southside
Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.
Committeeman John Russo Jr., who sent in a resume asking the
Republicans to make him the synthetic “Mayor”, said Inteso was “not
fit to be our mayor” because Inteso had not been “fair” in handing out
committee assignments to himself and fellow Democrat John Furey.
Before he cast his vote to appoint himself “Mayor”, Inteso said “I’ll
place the needs of the 90,000 people first, the 650 people who work
for Dover Township next and then the needs of our political parties”.
A likely story. |
