I would like to thank the Committee Chairman, Club Vice President Tony DePaola, Committee Vice Chair Barbara DiPillo, members Sal Mastroberti, Rocco DiPillo, Joe Bruscino, Robert Ray, Rocco Miraldi, Dolores DePaola, Elaine Caggiano, Anthony Viscel, Rich Kimmel, Mike Romano, Roland Leger and countless others who pitched in”, Amato said.

A jubilant Mayor Jason Varano welcomed nearly a thousand participants to the Annual Democratic Picnic held September 14th at Veterans Park.

The picnic also saw a visit by the two Democratic US Senators, Robert Torricelli, a candidate for re-election, and John Corzine, as well as State Democratic Chair, Bonnie Watson Coleman.

A roving magic act by Mitch Geier entertained the guests who also enjoyed dancing to the Don Pesce orchestra.
