School Tax Increases From Sadeghi And Vasil?
Two School
Board Members, Patronage Recipients, Voted For Biggest School Tax Hike In
Three Years
They Helped
Cause Massive Overdevelopment And Gridlocked Traffic, But Now They Won’t
Help Taxpayers Do Anything About It
Dover
Township:
Earlier this year, the Toms River School Board, led by F. Frank Sadeghi and
Elizabeth Vasil, voted for the biggest tax increase in three years, the down
payment on the looming overdevelopment tax increase that may reach $40
million a year within a few years.

Then Sadeghi,
school board member, Planning Board Engineer, Posse Chief, GOP Committeeman
and developers engineer, sent out a letter signed by Republican Boss R. C.
clement, telling GOP voters the school tax increase never happened.
The letter,
which was never challenged, led to the re-election of Vasil, a Republican
political appointee with a county job and a husband who Boss Clement created
a cushy township job for a few years ago.
School
Board Won’t Help With Overdevelopment, But Sadeghi And Vasil Schedule $35
Million School Referendum Anyway
Now Sadeghi
and Vasil, despite the overdevelopment credibility problem, have scheduled a
December 10th referendum for $35 million in schools and a new round of tax
increases they say are necessary because of excessive growth they helped to
cause by catering to development interests in exchange for political perks.
Sadeghi was
already involved with ethics violations regarding the school board and a
sticky Republican patronage situation a few years ago.
Why Would
Voters Want Approve Another Sadeghi Tax Increase?
Why would
voters want to go along with $35 Million in new schools and another $10
million a year to support them if Sadeghi and Vasil and the school board
won’t help counter overdevelopment they helped to cause??
Good question.
