Disclosure Reports For Candidates And Public Question Due November
25th
Following Unreturned Phone Calls By His Candidates, Dr. John
Moriarty DM, President Of The Dover Township Democratic Organization,
Is Humbly And Respectfully Requested To Fork Over The Democrat
Publications For Review By OceanCountyPolitics•Com Campaign Police
Dover Township: For sheer volume of lies, nothing beats
the Republican campaign publications in the recent campaign for two
township committee seats here.
Political observers are waiting with bated breath for final campaign
disclosure reports due for filing on November 25th which will show
that the two parties spent close to $600,000 for the local election.
$600,000 Spent By Two Parties - $15,000 By Vote YES Committee
The $600,000 included $100,000 spent by a GOP-dominated consortium of
development interests to oppose the Change Of Government referendum,
which was successfully adopted in an upset by more than 1000 votes.
The Vote Yes Committee Of 10,000 spent about $15,000 to get the
question passed.

Republicans lied about the new mayor’s salary ("the Mayor will get a
$75,000 raise”), non-existent open space spending, budget “cuts” when
the budget went up by $5 million, the cost of transition to a new
government ($6 million claimed) and preposterous claims that
development interests that caused serious overdevelopment are the ones
who should be selected by the voters to stop it.

File Libel Suit Re: GOP Lie Flier
One of the Republican fliers caused such consternation among local
Democrats that candidates Richard Larsen and Thomas Rodgers have filed
suit accusing the GOP of libeling them with a false claim about
campaign contributions from New York chemical companies, an allegation
which has been admitted by Republican candidates.
But now, a week after the election, reports are circulating that the
Democrats may have realized they are also vulnerable on chemical
company issues - so the same rumors carry a codicil that the Democrats
are likely to drop the suit like a hot potato very soon.
Hence a desire on the part of OceanCountyPolitics•Com Campaign
Police for a complete set of Democratic campaign publications, so the
campaign cops can see for themselves what all the rumor fuss is all
about.
Democratic Candidates Do Not Return Phone Calls
The request has been made of the Democratic candidates, but no
publications have been forthcoming.
So the same request has been made of Dr. John Moriarty DM, President
of the Dover Township Democratic Organization, to fork over the
Democrat publications for review.
Dr. Moriarty is the Democratic strategist and local party boss who
runs a company he calls Words, Words, Words, which produces Democrat,
Democrat, Democrat campaign publications and issues press releases for
Democrat Township Committeeman Dr. John Furey, the Chiropractor with a
masters degree in criminal justice.
Moriarty Has Campaign Publications
Moriarty should have no trouble coming up with the campaign
publications, since he prepared them.
Moriarty was also real thick with Committeeman John Russo Jr. and
shared office space with him until the two had a falling out and
Moriarty had to get his own digs in down town Toms River. (11/14/02)
