GOP GreedClub Junta In Another
DMUA Cabal As $50,000 A Week Budget Deficit Continues To Fester

DMUA Deficit Policies Strangely Similar To Revenue Shortfall In Brick
Budget Voted By Council President Who, Ironically, Is A "Financial
Consultant"
Brick & Dover :
Republican GreedClub Chairman Richard
Clement and his wife, Commissioner Deborah "Double Dippin' Debbie"
Clement, put on a show for last night's DMUA meeting that the agency's
45,000 ratepayers will be paying for well into the future.
Another $2 Million
Investment Business Giveaway
|

D. D. D. Clement |
The meeting featured another no bid
patronage payoff giveaway of
authority investment business to a local stock broker who also happens
to be a Haines Cove Drive neighbor of Boss Clement, who attended the
meeting to keep his minions in line.
$2 Million Giveaway
Engineered
By Acropolis Partner
The bond business giveaway, which
involved $2 million in authority reserve funds, was engineered by
GreedClub Vice President Joseph Bilotta, also a stock broker who is a
business partner of financial consultant Steven Acropolis, the Brick
Council President who recently led the adoption of this year's Brick
Township spending budget that perpetuated the largest tax increase in
township history (from 2002).
Brick Republicans
Approved The Highest
Administrative Costs In Ocean County
The huge Brick tax increase was
institutionalized recently by the Council's four member Republican majority in
this year's budget along with approval of the highest local government
administrative costs anywhere among Ocean County municipalities.
Similar Excesses ($8
Million Three Year Deficit)
At DMUA Approved By Acropolis'
Partner And Three GreedClub Stooges
The irony is that similar deficit
spending at the DMUA, now being perpetuated by Acropolis' own partner
and three other Clement GreedClub stooges, has given the authority a
cumulative three year budget deficit of nearly $8 million, and a
current operating deficit which is growing at the rate of $50,000 as
week.
Chairman Haelig Urged
Action On Deficit - But The Clements Wanted To Talk About
Seating Arrangements
|

DMUA Chairman
Robert K. Haelig Jr.
"Where Did I Go Wrong?" |
Last night the commissioners again took
no action on the budget deficit, despite urging by Chairman Robert K.
Haelig Jr. to do so, but instead there was another argument about the seating
arrangements of authority commissioners.
Majority Of
Commissioners Sit
With Backs To The Public
The seating arrangements have been a
subject of controversy since three GreedClub commissioners began
sitting with their backs to the public section of the room, a posture
which has drawn criticism from the media and members of the public
including Citizens Alert Committee members who pointed out that the
DMUA is the only agency in North America where the majority of the
governing body sits with their backs to the public.
Bellu & Ms. Clement
Want To Sit So Nobody Faces The Public
|

Juan Carlos Bellu |
Jos. Bilotta |
The twilight zone atmosphere became even
more weird when Commissioner Juan Carlos Bellu and Mrs. Clement
suggested the table be rotated 90 degrees, a geometry which would
leave nobody facing the public except one person sitting at the
extreme end of the long conference table.
Haelig Says It's A
"Dumb Recommendation"
The Bellu-Clement proposal was described
by Chairman Haelig as "one of the dumbest recommendations I have ever
heard."
Bellu is the immediate past chairman of
the local planning board.
"We Need To Attend To
The Important Issues"
"We have a $2.4 million current year
operating deficit and you folks spend hours arguing about seating
arrangements and microphone placements because of Mrs. Clement's
vindictiveness," Haelig said.

Boss Clement
|
Haelig Voted Against
Every Payoff And Giveaway
Haelig ended up on the short end of
several 4-1 votes by the Clements and the three stooges to waste
authority money overpaying excessive "professional" vouchers and
giving away the $2 million in bond business, considered without any
competition or alternative bids, as it was railroaded through by
Bilotta, obviously acting on orders from Boss Clement and the
GreedClub leadership.
