Brick, TR Regional School Board Members May Seek New Terms Even After Political Debasement

After Bottom Feeding In Political Sewer Of Character Assassination And Smear, OCUA Commissioners Pannucci And Sadeghi Could Seek New School Board Terms; Might Even Run Unopposed

Gilmore Held Smear Meeting And Everybody Came

River City: Two attendees at the Chairman Gilmore smear campaign planning meeting in December are school board members whose terms end this year.

Both May Run For New Terms

OceanCountyPolitics has learned that both may run for new terms to once again set rancid examples for our school children, despite publicity linking them with character assassination campaigns planned at the December meeting held at the Allen Street law offices of Republican County Chairman George Gilmore.

Frank Sadeghi, a member of the Toms River Regional School Board, and Frank Pannucci, a Brick School Board member, are also Commissioners on the Ocean County Utilities Authority.

Sunshine Law Violations?

A majority of the OCUA commissioners, including Lacey Republican Boss John Parker and County Consumer "Protection" Director Kenneth Leake, were also at the Gilmore Smear meeting, giving rise to charges they all violated open public meetings regulations (Sunshine Law violations) because a majority was present.

The smear campaigns were initiated as retaliation on OceanCountyPolitics, OCP editor Richard Schiff, Dover Utilities Commissioner Robert K. Haelig Jr. and others on enemies lists compiled by Gilmore and Dover GOP Boss Richard Clement for coverage of the OCUA, tax and spending increases and ethical practices in the new government in Dover Township, and news stories about Brick Council President Steven Acropolis and his business partner, Joseph Bilotta on a variety of financial oversights and irregularities.

Acropolis Represented At Smear
Meeting By Bilotta And Scaturro

Acropolis, who was cited for making political retaliation threats against Haelig and Schiff, was represented at the smear meeting by Bilotta and Brick Republican Club President Steven Scaturro, a staff member for 10th District legislators David Wolfe and Andrew Ciesla and the husband of Brick Councilwoman Ruthann Scaturro.

Rigged Bond Awards?

Bilotta is a DMUA commissioner who allegedly rigged bond awards at the DMUA to favor patronage cronies of Republican bosses.

A majority of the DMUA commissioners was also present at the smear meeting, raising Sunshine Law questions about them, too.

Payroll Padding By Pannucci And Acropolis?

Payroll padding charges have also surfaced regarding Acropolis and Pannucci, whose son, Frank Pannucci Jr., was hired in the Brick local government to a $55,000 position after he was "recommended" by Acropolis and other members of the GOP council majority.

Acropolis' son-in-law, Kevin Toye, was given a $65,000 "confidential" aide job in the Ocean County Clerk's office as a result of his family connections and impeccable Republican credentials.
