OCUA Architect Payments
River City:
The frivolous lawsuit filed by pay-for-play
architect Massimo Yezzi against the OceanCountyPolitics

Haelig Jr., one of OCP's commentators and shareholders, and
OCP
Editor-In-Chief Richard Schiff may be part of a wide conspiracy of
greed involving the county's most prolific political patronage
recipients.

Democrat Levin Got $30,000 Pact
From Brush And GOP Council |
The Yezzi
lawsuit, was filed December 22nd by lawyer Harry Jay Levin, a Democrat
who was part of Mayor Paul Brush's "Independent" campaign for Mayor.
Brush has since reverted to type and has again become a
Democrat who has colluded with the GOP Council on crony appointments,
enactment of the largest spending increase in township history and a
big tax increase.
Levin was one of
about 40 Republican and Democrat lawyers who received legal "services"
contracts from Brush and the Republican Council as the new government
set records for political patronage appointments in Dover during 2004.
Levin Supported World-Class
Political Payoff At OCC
Levin is also a
member of the Ocean County College Board of Trustees where he recently
supported one of the largest political payoffs ever made to a
community college instructor-politician, a pension scam story which
will reportedly be aired by the Ocean County Observer in the near
future.

Stooges Of Boss Clement Pushed Yezzi Cover-Up |
Yezzi first
threatened his lawsuit during the public session at the October
meeting of the DMUA, where stooge commissioners appointed by GOP Boss
Richard Clement acted to gag Commissioner Haelig from releasing and
discussing open
public records data which show payments of more than $157,000
by the Ocean County Utilities Authority to architect Yezzi at the same
time his wife, April Yezzi was being appointed as a DMUA commissioner
last year.
The Yezzi's never
disclosed the OCUA payments to Massimo Yezzi so April became a
commissioner in a classic conflict-of-interest situation with broad
implications for the integrity of the process.
The video of the
Massimo Yezzi threats at the DMUA public session will be available on
OCP at a later date as this series continues.

April Yezzi is
the president of the Ocean County Women's Federation, but was
appointed to the DMUA by Mayor Brush as his appointment
shortly after the new Dover Township government took office in January
2004.
Yezzi Payment Cover-Up
Led By
Deborah Clement And Juan Bellu
Cover-up of the
Yezzi payments
was led by Clement's wife, Commissioner Deborah Clement and Commission
Vice Chairman Juan Carlos Bellu, the former Planning Board Chairman
and development interest accountant who helped kill the township's
open space plan in 2003.
Let's Go To The Video Tape On Motion To Gag Haelig
|

Commissioner Robert Haelig Gagged
For Doing His
Job |
Bellu, Mrs.
Clement and Commissioners Anthony Benyola and Joseph Bilotta voted to
gag Haelig in the first such gag motion in fifty years of history at
the local authority, ruling that Haelig couldn't mention the Yezzi
OCUA payments despite the DMUA's annual obligation of more than $10.5
million to the OCUA.
$157,000 Yezzi Cover-Up Is
Latest Chapter In OCUA Rip-Off
The Yezzi payment
cover-up is the latest chapter in one of the most costly cover-ups in
Ocean County history as the OCUA, now aided by the Yezzi conflict, is
permitted to continue its rip-off of Dover ratepayers - with a little
help from its friends on the Dover MUA.
Told Haelig To Take Yezzi Conflict To DCA
|

Mrs. Clement |
Mrs. Clement and
Bellu even tried to shunt the April Yezzi appointment conflict off to
the New Jersey Department Of Community Affairs, the agency that has
covered up every conflict situation ever referred to it, from former
Democrat Boss Jack Moriarty to OCUA Commissioner Frank Sadeghi.
Give Us All A Break: OCUA Conflicts
Make Watergate Scandal Look Cheap
The OCUA
patronage cover-up makes the Watergate Cover-Up look like a chapter
from Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm by comparison, because there is a lot
more more taxpayers money involved.

Lacey Boss And OCUA Chair John Parker Helped
Waste $500 Million |
The OCUA has
wasted more than $500 million in 20 years under the great leadership
of Lacey GOP Boss John Parker, another of Yezzi's benefactors, and the
late Jack Meyer, who mismanaged the OCUA patronage-swollen budget and
huge debt in a miasmic geyser of political nourishment for their
cronies and political bosses.
$500 Million Was WASTED
By Axis Of Greed At OCUA
Just so there is
no misunderstanding, the $500 million was WASTED, over and above what
any competent management should have spent meeting the regional sewer
agency's obligations.
But the OCUA,
which columnist Paul Mulshine more than twenty years ago called a
"haven" for greedy lawyers and other parasitic "professionals," is a
card-carrying part of the Axis Of Greed, and every taxpayer and sewer
customer in Ocean County has paid a huge price for its profligacy.
Dover Ratepayers Pay More Than $10.5 Million
Annually To The OCUA, But Bellu And Mrs. Clement
Say Yezzi OCUA Payments Are "None Of Our Business"
The Dover
authority pays more than $10.5 million a year to line the pockets of
OCUA patronage and payoff recipients, and ratepayers in Toms River
paid all the bills as the DMUA stooges who constructed the October
Yezzi OCUA payment cover-up produced a DMUA budget deficit for 2005 of
more than $5.3 million.
OCUA Sewer Rate May Be The Highest On The Planet
The OCUA county
sewer rate is very nearly the highest on the planet at $3350 per
million gallons (Atlantic County rate is $1800 by comparison). The
extra $500 million, much of it contributed unwittingly by the county's senior
population, has been traumatically extracted from the Ocean County economy during
the past 20 years.
