River City: Our information was wrong and we apologize for incorrectly stating that the three year Toms River Regional School Board term of Frank Sadeghi will be completed this year.

Mr. Sadeghi's term ends next year, in 2006, not 2005.

We are indebted for the correct information to Board Member Linda Garvey, who called OCP with the correction, and told us that her current three year term on the board is up later this year.

Mrs. Garvey also advised that the current terms of board members Elizabeth Vasil and Meera Malik will also be concluding in 2005.

School board elections are held in April; filing deadline for candidates is reported to be February 28th.

The voters will need to wait until next year's election to get an opportunity to make a judgement on Mr. Sadeghi's performance as a steward for the future of our children.
