Axis-Of-Greed Surtax Expands: Disproportionate Greed Burden Hits

A Job Too; Amato Gets Paid Off With Useless "Printing And

Sus
Scrofa Domesticus Politicus |
The cost of the Axis-Of-Greed political
payoff surtax is expanding because Axis-Of-Greed bosses and
flunkies work overtime on their own greed agendas as the new year moves forward.
Greed conspiracy trustees at the
county college recently gave teacher David Wolfe, who just
happens to be a 10th District assemblyman, a special job as
"Governmental Relations and External Affairs Liaison" for the
college.
Wolfe Won't
Suffer From Overwork Anytime Soon
|

Assemblyman Wolfe:
Overwork Not A Plausible Possibility |
But, don't worry folks; it is
not expected that Assemblyman Wolfe will suffer from overwork
anytime soon because the ponderous job title is not really
commensurate with the flimsy quality of the non-ponderous job.
Wolfe Pact Costs Taxpayers
Over $200,000
OceanCountyPolitics
conducted an informal poll, and it is clear taxpayers do not
expect that Wolfe will be required to do much of anything
except show up for his humongous paychecks which, including
benefits and a "legal" double-dip health insurance kickback of
$3410 cash ($710 more than the other recent alleged "illegal"
Brick kickback) now cost taxpayers more than $200,000 annually.
In Other
Berkeley Township News: $2 Million For Yezzi
In other Berkeley Township news,
the local elementary school system produced records that show
Architect Massimo Yezzi, a self proclaimed "philanthropist,"
relieved Berkeley taxpayers of nearly $2 million for services
Yezzi said he performed on the recent school construction there.
Yezzi Payments
Approved By Sahradnik
|

Jack
Sahradnik |
The Yezzi payments were approved
by Jack Sahradnik, the attorney who received more than
$700,000 last year as the very reasonably compensated lawyer
for the county freeholders.
Sahradnik is also the attorney
for the Berkeley School System. Yezzi called the $2 million
payments to him "competitive," but did not characterize the
payments to Sahradnik.
Central
Regional Board Gave April Yezzi A Job
|

Carmen Amato |
|

Richard Ciullo |
Carmen Amato and Richard Ciullo,
Central Regional Board members, thought it was only fair that
the Yezzi's be active in their school system also, so they
gave April Yezzi, Massimo's wife, a job as Assistant Business
Administrator, which will probably be worth at least $130,000
when James Cummings, the current Business Administrator,
retires.
Jobs For All:
County Is The Employer Of Last Resort
As we reported last week, the
Freeholders gave Amato an $85,000 job as Director of Printing
and Graphics, another job that many Berkeley residents,
particularly senior citizens, regard
as useless and a complete waste of taxpayers' money.
Brick Board
Paid Yezzi $1,400,000
|

Pannucci |
And papers have surfaced showing
that Yezzi was paid $1,400,000 by the Brick School Board with
the support of Board member Frank Pannucci, who is also a
commissioner on the Ocean County Utilities Authority.
OCUA Paid
Yezzi $157,000 But April Kept It A Secret
Pannucci was one of the OCUA
commissioners who set Yezzi up with a gig that returned
$157,000 which was being paid while Yezzi's wife April was
appointed to the Dover Municipal Utilities Authority, but no
disclosure was made by the Yezzi's.

Good Little Axis-Of-Greed Flunkies
|

Steve Acropolis |
Steve Acropolis, Brick Council
President, a Republican like the others, used his connections
with the Axis-Of-Greed leadership to get his son-in-law, Kevin
Toye, a superfluous $70,000 job with the Ocean County Clerk's
office.
Pannucci used his clout with the
greed bosses and Acropolis, to get his son, Frank Pannucci
Jr., a $65,000 job with the Assessor's office in Brick
Township.
All
Appointments Approved By Gilmore
All of the appointments, and
lots more, were approved by Axis-Of-Greed overboss George
Gilmore, the Chairman of the Ocean County Republican Party,
who would like to be the attorney for the Brick School Board,
especially if Pannucci gets re-elected in the April school
election.

Capt.
Renault: "Round Up The Usual Suspects" |
|

Gilmore |
Lawyer Gilmore, who according to
the Asbury Park Press was paid $1.3 million last year by
public agencies, is also proceeding with
the smear and intimidation campaign against Axis-Of-Greed critics
which was launched at the December 3rd meeting of most of the
principals at his Allen Street Toms River Office.
