Axis-Of-Greed Surtax Takes Great Leap Higher For Beachwood, Ocean County Taxpayers With Useless Crony Jobs Planned For Freeholder Lacey And Mayor Morris

Ocean County GOP Freeholder James Lacey is set to lose his marginally useful job as "administrator" in Point Pleasant Beach because Democrats, using Lacey as a major issue, took control of the local government there in the 2004 election.

No problem: You just find some way to persuade the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Beachwood to advertise for an administrator, which the borough has been doing without just fine for about 150 years, and set Lacey up with the job.

Lacey May Earn Close To $100,000

Just to make it look respectable, you set the salary "range" at $60,000 to $100,000, implying that there is more than one chance in a thousand that the applicant selected would be started at the low end of the range. (Please consult recently established salary ranges across the river in Dover Township for guidance on this point).

Round Up The Usual Suspects

Then you "advertise" for "applicants" and round up some of the usual suspects to make it look like there is more than one chance in a thousand that someone other than Freeholder Lacey would get the "administrator" job which, of course, has already been promised to him in return for the usual quid pro quo.

Novasky Criticizes Ordinance Introduction

The Freeholder Lacey Beachwood administrator ordinance was adopted on first reading Thursday evening, a move that was criticized by Beachwood resident Dennis Novasky who said "the only people this makes things better for is you," a comment that was apparently directed to Mayor Morris.

Quid Pro Quo Consistent With
Axis-Of-Greed Grand Design

The quid pro quo, of course, consistent with Axis-Of-Greed basic grand design of ripping off taxpayers in Beachwood as well as the rest of Ocean County, is reportedly the appointment of Mayor Morris to a cushy useless job at the county election board or other over-staffed, overpaid venue.

Will Morris Get Cushy County "Job" In Return
For Beachwood Appointment Of Freeholder Lacey?

Look for Mayor Morris, who apparently has no further interest in the well being of Beachwood taxpayers as he pursues his own personal and financial agendas, to receive consideration for a county job which may, including benefits, cost county (and Beachwood) taxpayers about $90,000.

Lacey/Morris Rip-Off Next Logical Step As Greed Surtax Lurches Over $100 Million

The Lacey/Morris rip-off is the next logical step in the crony feedings that took place recently involving Central Regional School Board President Carmen Amato, Ocean County Women's Republican Federation President April Yezzi, Brick Council President Steven Acropolis, Brick School Board Member and OCUA Commissioner Frank Pannucci, Freeholder Jack Kelly, former Point Pleasant Councilman Massimo Yezzi, Ocean County Republican Chairman George Gilmore, County Freeholder Attorney Jack Sahradnik and, of course, the latest county college payoff and health benefit kickback to Assemblyman David Wolfe as the Axis-Of-Greed gravy train puts further strain on Ocean County taxpayers, and the total Greed Surtax lurches over $100 Million a year.
