Judge Says NO To Levin/Yezzi Star Chamber Demand; Says OCP, Schiff & Haelig Can Make Motion For "More Specific Claims"
Case
Management Conference Set For April 12th In Yezzi-Clement
Lawsuit After
Pay-To-Play Lawyer Fails To Intimidate Court Process Or
OCP
River City: Superior Court Judge Marlene Lynch Ford set a Case
Management Conference for Tuesday, April 12th after telling the lawyer
for pay-to-play architect Massimo Yezzi that his demand for unlimited
deposition privileges was denied.
Levin and Yezzi,
who accused OceanCountyPolitics of "lying" about them,
and of publishing material "in reckless disregard for the truth," did
not identify a single alleged "lie" or give any examples of the
alleged "recklessness" in the complaint they filed.
Yezzi-Levin Lawsuit May Be Part Of Cover-Up
The failure to be
specific has led many observers to conclude that the lawsuit is
another cover-up of Yezzi and Levin's activities at public agencies
where they have been the recipients of no-bid crony contracts
involving big gobs of taxpayers money.

Yezzi Attended
December 3rd Gilmore Smear Meeting Where SmearSuit Was Approved
By Chairman, Two Freeholders and other officials |
Yezzi was one of
the public officials who attended the December 3rd smear and
intimidation meeting at the Allen Street offices of Republican County
Chairman George Gilmore to set up a campaign to silence critics of the
pay-to-play system and their part in it.
Levin Wanted To Hand Brush $75,000 Salary
After $30,000 Pay-To-Play Gig From Township
Levin, a Democrat
and supporter of Dover Mayor Paul Brush, wrote a letter saying Brush
ought to get a salary of $75,000. This was after Brush and the
Republican Council handed Levin a $30,000 pay-to-play political
payoff contract compliments of the taxpayers.
It was revealed
recently by former Central Regional School Board member Richard
Elliott that Yezzi and two other pay-for-play vendors received more
than $2.7 million in no-bid professional "fees" for work on the
Berkeley Elementary School construction program.

No-Bid Architect Massimo Yezzi
Got $1.95 Million From Berkeley Schoos |
Of the $2.7
million, Yezzi got more than $1.95 million, according to Berkeley
school system payment records.
Another Yezzi
payoff surfaced two weeks ago, when Yezzi's wife, April, was handed a
$70,000 "position" as Assistant Business Administrator in the Central
Regional school system, a superfluous appointment which validates
Yezzi profit raids on the treasuries of both Berkeley school systems.

Levin Threatened Haelig And Schiff
Levin threatened
Haelig and Schiff and OCP with sanctions: "You and your
co-defendant may think you are going to control the judicial process,"
Levin postured in a letter attempting to intimidate Haelig.
But in the end,
the court had the last word, and Levin will have to wait until after
the April 12th conference to see where the suit goes next.
This article prepared for March 6, 2005. Stay tuned on Monday, March
7th for more of the Judge's rulings on the Yezzi SmearSuit from the
hearing in Toms River on Friday.
