CyberCreep Richard Ciullo

Amato's School Board Patronage Network

Berkeley Republican Club Officers Push Pay-To-Play School Scams Costing Berkeley Taxpayers Extra Millions

Central Board Member Ciullo, Shut Down Once For Offensive & Objectionable Internet Material, Now Operates GOP SmearSite

Republican Club officers masquerading as school board members (or is it the other way around?) recently spent some political capital going way out on a limb with an endorsement of proposed legislation to cap school taxes for seniors.

Phony Posturing On Senior Tax Stabilization

The "endorsement" had the three characteristics essential for this type of phony political posturing:

The "endorsement" would have no effect whatsoever on the likelihood the legislation would actually be adopted

GOP Club President And Berkeley School Board Member Tony DePaola

The "endorsement" required no effort of any kind for GOP GreedClub officers Richard Ciullo, Carmen Amato and Tony DePaola, Berkeley school board members.

The "endorsement" would draw attention away from the ongoing program of ripping off every senior in Berkeley Township with crony giveaways and patronage payola.

The pretentious "endorsement" resolution, which cost taxpayers extra to have the school board attorney prepare, was the most recent scam by Republican Chairman Amato, Vice President Ciullo and President DePaola on taxpayers who are already paying too much.

The GOP GreedClub officers are all school board members.

DePaola Made $1.96 Million Yezzi Motion

DePaola made the motion to hire Architect Massimo Yezzi (then a Republican Councilman) for an unprecedented $1.96 million patronage gig for design work in the Berkeley elementary school construction programs.

Elliott: Yezzi Got $1.96 Million Of $2.7 Million Total, But Competitive Bids Could Have Saved $1.8 Million

Rich Elliott Blew The Whistle On Yezzi Scam

Yezzi and two other GOP campaign donors received more than $2.7 million for design work, services that Rich Elliott, former Central School Board member and construction expert says could have been done for under $1 million if the work was competitively bid.

But DePaola and Amato never bothered to demand competitive bids, so Berkeley seniors may have paid nearly $1.8 million too much on the Yezzi-Republican no-bid service contracts.

With Yezzi Payoffs, Amato, DePaola, Ciullo Have
Their Thumbs In The Eyes Of Berkeley Seniors

To add insult to injury and put their thumbs in the eyes of every senior in Berkeley, Amato and Ciullo handed a job potentially worth as much as $140,000 annually to April Yezzi, Massimo's wife, as Assistant Business Administrator at Central Regional.

The Yezzi payments are only the tip of the iceberg in a hemorrhage of public funds perpetrated by the cartel of Republican Club officers that dominates Berkeley Schools.

Ciullo Now Operates Republican SmearSite

Mayor Varano Is Target Of Ciullo SmearSite

Ciullo is the operator of a Republican WebSite that specializes in character assassination and gaudy threats against perceived enemies, including, of course, OceanCountyPolitics, Mayor Jason J. Varano and everybody else who questions their patronage distribution policies at the Berkeley school systems.

A previous Ciullo SmearSite was dismantled last year after Berkeley parents complained to Central Regional officials about offensive and objectionable material from Ciullo on the internet site.
