When it comes to pension scams, Republican County Chairman George
Gilmore makes former world champ pension chiseler John Bennett look
like a petty grifter by comparison.
Gilmore Now The Chutzpah And Pension Scam Champ
|

Gilmore |
Gilmore, never lacking in chutzpah, gave GOP officials in Seaside
Heights and Stafford Township the honor of putting him on the pension
payroll in addition to his lucrative bill-by-the-hour gig as township attorney
in both municipalities.
$100,000 Public Pension Without A Full Time Job, And He Has To
Settle For $1.3 Million In No-Bid Payments
Gilmore's contrived "salaries" add up to about $200,000 a year for
pension purposes, so while the rest of us poor slobs might work full
time our whole lives for a $25,000 pension or no pension at all, lucky George,
compliments of the taxpayers, may get an annual pension of more than
$100,000 in addition to the $1.3 million annually his law firm rakes
in from no-bid contract public agency clients.

Chiseler Sen. John Bennett Of Monmouth County |
So when GOP gubernatorial candidate Douglas Forrester pushes pension
reform or is questioned about the Gilmore axis-of-greed hidden tax, somebody, maybe even one of John Corzine's agents, is going to
ask: "What about Gilmore?"
Influence peddling? Same problem in spades, all over Ocean County.

Dippin' Debbie And Other Assorted Gilmore Flunkies

Double dipping on health benefits?
Gilmore looked the other way for
years while dozens of axis-of-greed flunkies he controlled helped themselves to
extra double-dip health benefits, and taxpayers who couldn't afford
even one policy for themselves, were paying for two benefit packages
for a legion of Gilmore stooges.
Forrester may find that a little awkward to deal with.
What about pay-to-play abuses, perhaps the most visible ongoing story
in New Jersey's major media?
Same problem for Forrester - in spades - all over Ocean County.

Political payoff abuses? How about Assemblyman Dave Wolfe, Central
Regional School Board President Carmen Amato, Dover Councilman Michael
Fiure, Freeholder James Lacey, Dover Republican Chairman Joseph
Coronato, former Assemblywoman Virginia Haines, Dover Council
President Gregory McGuckin, Beachwood Councilman Ronald Roma, Dover
Utilities Authority Commissioner Deborah "Double-Dippin' Debbie"
Clement, OCUA Commissioner Frank Pannucci, Brick Councilman Steven
Acropolis, Dover Township Councilwoman Maria Maruca and a host of other lucky political payoff recipients who
are card carrying members of the Gilmore Greed Conspiracy team.

$90,000 In For Fiure - $90,000 Out For Gilmore
Fiure was so brazen about his $90,000 political payoff "job" in the
county parks department that he returned the favor, dollar for dollar,
a couple of weeks later by making a motion, seconded by Gilmore's
Seaside Heights stooge, Councilwoman Maria Maruca, to hand the
esteemed Chairman George a $90,000 legal services contract to massage
the township administrative code to validate several dozen additional
political payoffs to worthy "cronies-with-connections," compliments
once again of lucky Dover taxpayers.

Gilmore Payoff Motion On The Very First Day |
Forrester will tread lightly with talk of reform around this bunch,
for fear of having a picture taken with a potential poster boy for
political greed and good-ole-boy generosity with other people's money.
Hidden Axis-Of-Greed Tax
May Exceed $110 Million
And if anybody figures out that the climate of avarice established by
the Gilmore group is costing the taxpayers an extra $110 Million a
year for the hidden greed tax, give or take a few mil, watch out!
In any event, there is a lot of territory between Point A and Point B,
because Forrester's Democratic opponent, Sen. John Corzine, has an 8
point lead, according to the latest state-wide poll, but the same poll
showed Forrester with a lead among independents, and gaining solid
ground on ethics issues and property tax reform.
But what about the 800 lb.
Ocean County Gorilla?
Stay tuned 'cause there's more to come on the wheeling and
dealing as the November gubernatorial election gets closer and closer.
