Former Central Regional school board
member Richard Elliott says the school system has become a "cesspool
of political greed" during the past year since Richard Ciullo was
elected to the board in April of
2004.
Amato Dispenses
Patronage, Holds $85,000 Useless County Job Compliments Of Gilmore
Things were bad enough before that as
Board President Carmen Amato presided over numerous political payoffs
in return for a useless series of county jobs including his current
"position" as Director of Printing and Graphics at a cost to the
taxpayers of about $85,000 annually.
The Berkeley school boards are dominated
by officers of the local Republican party, with Amato as Republican
Chairman, school board member Robert Ray as treasurer of the
Republican website that was taken down after publishing numerous false
and offensive accusations on the internet.

Anthony DiPaola is the president of the
Republican Club and a school board member; Richard Ciullo, purveyor of
the offensive and degrading internet lies on the aforementioned GOP
website and also a school board member; and Karen Davis, with
experience as a Republican organization officer, member of the
Berkeley school board and an employee of the largest Republican
pay-to-play accounting firm in Ocean County.

Stooges For County
GOP Greed Coalition
As school board members, Berkeley
Republican leaders have repeatedly catered to the county greed
coalition headed by Republican Chairman (and lawyer) George Gilmore,
Dover Township Council President (and lawyer) Gregory McGuckin and
lawyer Jack Sahradnik, the attorney for Berkeley schools and the
county Republican freeholders.

April Started Using Central Regional For GOP Meetings |
The Berkeley GOP leaders also handed
Dover Republican county committeeman Architect Massimo Yezzi no-bid
professional services contracts for nearly $2 million in payments from
Berkeley schools, a political gift that Elliott and others have termed
"the most wasteful spending in the history of Berkeley Township."
The same "leaders" handed April Yezzi,
Massimo's wife and president of the Ocean County Republican Women's
Federation, a job as Ass't Business Administrator at Central Regional,
another useless handout that is costing taxpayers $70,000 annually.
"Taxpayers Get Lost,"
Says April Yezzi
Less than 60 days after April Yezzi
began whacking the taxpayers at Central Regional, she arranged through
Ciullo, Ray and Amato to begin holding Ocean County Republican Women's
Federation meetings at Central Regional Middle School.
A nice touch on April's application was
an endorsement from lawyer Dina Vicari, daughter of
Freeholder-Superintendent Joseph Vicari, and an officer in both the
Women's Republican Federation and the Ocean County Young Republican
Club.

Recent county greed coalition victims
include taxpayers in Dover Township, Brick Township, Beachwood,
Seaside Heights, Seaside Park,
Lavallette,
Lacey Township, Barnegat
Township, Jackson Township, the Ocean County government and other
constituencies where Gilmore, McGuckin, Sahradnik and a couple of
other political bosses give the marching orders and local officials
carry them out, producing a political greed tax surcharge which may
amount to $110 million a year.
