Animal House In Bayville??

Commentator Rich Elliott Says "Animal House Atmosphere" At Central Regional HS Led To Deterioration Of Educational Performance - Former Board Member Says It's Because Of "Political Infestation" By Amato,
Davis, Ciullo, Askew, Gilmore And DiPaola

State DOE: Both HS And Middle School Face Sanctions After Test Scores Plummet As GOP Officers & Cronies Dominate Berkeley Educational Process

Republican Club Officer, Ward I GOP Candidate
Karen Davis

Editor's note: Richard Elliott's statement was sent to local media shortly after the State Department Of Education Year Three test score debacle was released to the news media.

Central School Board Member, Kinky Website Operator
Richard Ciullo

Mr. Elliott is a former Central Regional school board member who warned about the inevitable effect of politicizing the school system through the election of Republican Club officers who now dominate the school boards in Berkeley Township.

Mr. Elliott presents a strong case that greedy Republican patronage seekers have subverted school board policies to the political and patronage needs of the Berkeley Republican Club and the county GOP.

An example of the Animal House atmosphere was the disgusting appearance on one of board member Richard Ciullo's kinky websites of a sheep defecating on the head of a former school board member who dared to criticize Ciullo.

Mr. Elliott's Statement From The Ocean County Observer:

To the editor:

Dean Wormer

The politics-infested Animal House atmosphere at the Central Regional school board has led to the inevitable trickle-down deterioration of educational performance, and both Central Regional High School and Central Regional Middle School have been placed on Year Three probation by the state Department of Education.

School Officials "Presented Inaccurate Picture"

There was some indication early this year that probationary status was imminent, but school officials presented an inaccurate picture of test scores to the public media just as I predicted things would get worse long before they got better.

It should come as no surprise to the parents of Central Regional students that there are consequences from the domination of the educational process by officers and leaders of the Berkeley Republican greed club patronage and political reward division:

Republican Club Officers Politicized Process
Mr. & Mrs. Yezzi Were Prime Beneficiaries

Republican Club President Anthony DiPaola, Republican Chairman Carmen Amato, Republican Vice President Richard Ciullo, Director Robert Ray, treasurer Kevin Askew, director Karen Davis are all school board members who have helped to politicize the educational process.

Was Yezzi's $2 Million "the most wasteful spending in Berkeley history?"

Among other political favors, these folks handed Dover Township Republican District Committeeman Massimo Yezzi nearly $2 million in no-bid contracts from the Berkeley schools, and gave Yezzi’s wife a useless $70,000 job as “Assistant Business Administrator” at Central Regional.

Climate Of Greed And Hokum

The climate of greed and hokum, especially since Ciullo joined the board about 16 months ago, has become pervasive and intolerable.

It is no wonder that the bad examples and gutter politics of Ciullo, Amato and other Republican Club school board members have twisted the educational priorities in the eyes of the students and the staff, and made many of them cynical and marginally unfocused.

Probationary status from the state Department of Education is the inevitable result.

Amato Is So Proud Of His Central Regional
Achievements, He Is GOP Ward II Council Candidate

Carmen Amato: Was Central Regional Board President And "Poster Boy For Political Payoff System"

And just so residents of half the town can ponder what to do next, they should know that Chairman Amato is so proud of his achievements at Central Regional that he is a Republican candidate for township council in Berkeley Ward II.

Davis, Who Helped Raise Taxes In Berkeley Schools, Is CAndiate In Ward I

Republican Club School Board Member
Karen Davis Is Council Candidate In Ward I.

The November council elections in Ward I and Ward II will be a good chance to see if the public is agreeable to being ripped off again by the Republican greed conspiracy – this time in the township local government as well as the schools.
