Odor Of
Collusion & Influence Peddling Is Unmistakable As Gilmore, Republican
Council Are Caught Red-Handed Lying About Off-Track Betting Parlor
They Were Hiding Until After The Election
McGuckin, Backed By Hill, Maruca
And Fiure, Lied Three Times At Council Meeting; Claims He “Can’t
Remember” Gilmore Set Up The Meeting And Drove The Car On Philly
Gambling Hall Inspection Trip
If the Dover Township Republican Council
is re-elected, there will be an off-track gambling parlor in Toms
River. Bet on it!
Inquiring Minds Want
To Know
Haelig Asked About $675,000 Liquor License
At last week’s council meeting,
pay-to-play lawyer Gregory McGuckin, the council president, was asked
by Republican reform leader Robert K. Haelig Jr. if the $675,000
liquor license granted last May to NJ Accounts Wagering LLC was for a
gambling parlor.
Hill, Maruca, Fiure
Say They "Don't
Know" What The Liquor License Is For
Council members Mo Hill, Maria Maruca
and Mike Fiure said they “don’t know” what the liquor license is for,
despite the appearance of the word “wagering” in the applicant’s
company name.
Maruca
Can't
Remember If Gilmore Was There; Don't Know What A Wagering Company
Does: Must Be The Dumbest Public Officials On The Planet
McGuckin lied even more unconvincingly,
telling Haelig three times he “can’t remember” if pay-to-play lawyer
George Gilmore, the Ocean County Republican Chairman, was present
during a tour on March 11th of one of Accounts Wagering LLC’s gambling
parlors in Philadelphia.
Axis-Of-Greed Swindle?
All Ingredients Are There
Captain Renault is "shocked:
there's gambling going on"
McGuckin admitted later that Gilmore,
who hid his status as the attorney for Accounts Wagering LLC, set up
the Philly trip and actually drove the car with McGuckin as one of the
passengers.
So the people of Dover are left in the
dark again: all of the ingredients are there for another Axis-Of-Greed
swindle: booze, gambling, influence peddling, collusion, lies and
greed.
Captain Renault
"Shocked, Shocked!"
Captain Louis Renault, reached at his
office in Casablanca, said he was "Shocked, shocked; there's gambling
going on at a gambling establishment."
